Stephen M Bennett this is great post metal, not sounding like they're copying anyone, quite a fresh take on a heavily diluted genre, the double kick drum & distorted bass is very nice, great vocals & crushing guitars, very nice. Favorite track: Hinterlands.
FuegoMyEggo

FuegoMyEggo Thick sick riffs, dark post badassery.

The vocal performance in Hinterlands is worth the price of admission by itself.

Check out their other album also. Favorite track: Hinterlands.

Robert Elander They take elements of my favorite band (Cult of Luna) and gently mixes in guitar-textures reminiscent of Nile or Melechesh.
I guess it has something to do with alternate scales.
All while wrapping it in a really gnarly soundscape. The vocals can in the wrong hands summon anti-christ.

Also, don't ever take away that dist-pedal from the bass-player. that tone just cleared my sinus.

Give this band a few years and could produce magic that will live for decades.

warren barton Mireplaner are one to watch in 2018. The 2 songs on offer are so dark and colossal, they twist and turn and keep you guessing where they go.A must for fans of Cult of Luna or Neurosis. Favorite track: Hinterlands.

about

“Diapiric” is Mireplaner's first official release, consisting of two songs spanning just under twenty minutes. The ep’s name is a word derived from Greek, “Diapir” meaning “to pierce throughout”. The word is also used to describe a certain geological phenomenon.

For us, using this title is self-explanatory and essential, solely for its meaning and how it describes the music itself. Mireplaner will pierce through.
